16 POINTS GUIDE FOR A PRODUCTIVITY CHECKLIST
We all have been in such situations where we forget tasks that we had to do, these tasks may not be that important that they slipped out our mind but are a part of something big enough to be accomplished in the coming days or months.
Isn’t it right that we all had been such a situation?
Everyone wants to use their time to be more effective and efficient in whatever they do and thus watch over various ways to complete it, in such a situation we may multitask in activities, sometimes skip few areas or forget about them and this leads to degradation of results in a longer period.
One of the most important aspects that needs to be managed is time and most of us fail in this (as me) due to various reasons such as distractions, switching over different tasks in between, multitasking, repeating mistakes, etc. This needs to be taken into consideration when we work in a corporate area as there are deadlines to be respected.
So, what could be the best way to accomplish a given task with no left-outs and in time?
One of the ways that I have been using since last year and more is using a checklist. A checklist helps you to keep track of what is to be worked upon when is it to be done and sometimes how it needs to be done.
Preparing and using seems to be easy but isn’t as it requires time to think about the sequential and then prepared. This time is actually covered from the time we waste between tasks either while switching or thinking in at the end of one task.
A note to everyone that there’s no one way of preparing a checklist, everyone has a different way of working and managing things, everyone has different goals to accomplish and this requires planning in different ways, and also according to the situation. But the main motive is to stay productive in your work, a checklist helps you to do it effectively and efficiently.
Let’s see some of the major things that need to be considered while preparing a checklist which can increase the level of your productivity.
(Everything mentioned below is just a suggestion and varies from person to person, these are some personal experiences over a period that have helped me. A person can follow a few and work on others according to their scheduling).
