DON'T WASTE A SINGLE HOUR A DAY
Time waits for No-One.
This sentence has a defined meaning and importance equal to a book, yet only a few who understand it. (even I am one who hasn’t understood it totally but there are few mistakes as I did while understanding it & which you shouldn’t repeat).
We all have at least once at some point of time have said that we wish we would have a few hours more in a day to complete our work or to be productive or to do something (maybe sleep). Right? Yes, it’s common that we find that we have less time but ever asked why is it so? Every person on this planet has the same number of hours and minutes and now it’s upon us how do we use them.
We all have someone in our life we admire to become like maybe our father or some businessman or any celebrity. We all know what they do, what amount they would be earning, how do they look like and much more but have we ever tried to figure out the basic aspect of they becoming someone different. It’s definitely they work towards themselves in the same 24 hours we have, our working conditions may be different, our occupation may be different but it’s all secondary and comes to in a line as we start doing it, but the most important to learn how can we do what we need to in the 24 hours we have.
It’s really not as complicated as we make it. Just a regular routine and discipline is the key.
Let me elaborate on it. We all have a few big goals for which we need weeks, months or even years to accomplish. Just by waiting for those months or years won’t get the expected result, things are as simple that we need to work on every small part to get the bigger one but our goals get delayed when we waste hours, days and weeks thinking about what to do.
We all know that once a minute has passed, we won’t ever get it again and to consume every minute in a qualitative way we need to have a schedule to work towards it. (Adding a personal thought that some people say sleeping isn’t really required by the body or said to be a qualitative work yet this just a myth as our body needs rest after working certain period of time and so on anything you do that provides quality to your time is productive for example being an Indian listening to Arabic songs isn’t a waste of time if you are able to learn a new language through that).
Scheduling your day is an important task after you wake or a night before as this gives a clear path towards what we need to do and what time will be consumed in that task, breaking down your bigger goals into smaller helps you determine the progress and growth in your work every day. This helps you to leave behind the time wasted to think about what you need to do at that moment, it helps you move away from distractions such as non-required use of social media, watching television or movies which was to be done some other time, roaming around your city, talking to avoidable people, etc.
Your schedule should have only the important things lined up with priority and time allotted to maintain a linear moment of flow towards your work. Now, it’s good as you started preparing a schedule but more important to this is that we follow it with a disciple. When you get the in the habit of following your schedule you keep on growing with excitement because you want all greens in every new schedule and task you prepare, also sometimes as you wind up of task before time and use that time to do something else is fine until but this time gives you more excitement to complete the other tasks and get back to your leisure activities.
Also just understand that it’s your time, your business; it’s you who minds and manages it. Just make the best of it and find the best of yourself as time goes by. Understand your own priorities, your time is given to priority and other things as every small part count in.
I hope I was clear to convey my message in these three minutes.
